The City of Bloomington Parks and Rec decides whether games are played or not, the board members do not. The City of Bloomington Parks and Rec is allowed to cancel games at any time they please, even after we have started playing. If the city decides to close the fields the board members will receive a text stating the fields are closed. The board will pass on the information using the following methods.
1. It will be announced on Twitter (Follow @BloomingtonUlti to get this information)
2. It will be posted on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/BloomingtonUltimate/)
3. It will be posted on the home page of the website (www.bloomingtonultimate.org)
4. The board will send an e-mail to all players
Monroe County Parks and Rec decides whether games are played or not, the board members do not. When the county decides to close the fields they will say so on their parks and rec hotline, (812) 349-2126. Once a board member learns the fields have been closed the information will be passed along using the same methods as spring/fall league.
Even I don’t know how the cancellations work at Twin Lakes Rec Center.
The board can Seancel at any time for any reason and does not have to provide any additional information to anybody.
